I did a bunch of emboss resist & paper piecing:
Katie was stamped 3 times:
-once with her bear (to make a "magic" pattern with the wall paper & baseboard-tutorial here)
-once for her sweet little face and feet
-and once more to add a script embossing layer to her dress...
(and some crochet ribbon trim on the bottom too!) :O)
The scalloped edge was made with punched circles of a digital ledger printed and gesso washed. (The circles are stuck on the back)
To make the little picture frame brads, I printed out an inchie of an architectural drawing, stuck it on a brad & glazed it over with Crystal Lacquer (there's a tutorial on the brad altering process here.)

To make him I did this:
1) Glued the lampshade paper to cardstock
2) Traced the bear template onto it (body, head, & 2 arms)
3) Cut the bear out
4) Tinted the bear with Copics & other markers
5) Stitched him with dark gray embroidery thread (tummy & nose)
6) Assembled him
