Hi Ladies & Gents,
Have you ever made an interactive box? This one was a blast to make. I've only ever put together one slider card, but I thought it might be fun to make a sliding image on a box. This will be a prezzie for a special little family I know--for Christmas (instead of a card.) I know the kidlets will have a blast pulling on the slider to make this cutie Katie skate to the other side:
A blubbery blurb: Adieu to my LPS friends (only a formally farewell though.)

Fond Farewell
This is a very hard 'blurb' to write and a really emotional one for me. :o( Today marks my 78th post with the Little Paper Shop--and my last "official" LPS post.
Julia & the gals on the team have been more supportive than I could have wished for in my wildest dreams, but I'm having to cut back a little to make time for a couple of other dreams. I hope to learn to do videos, try to design stamps/digis; teach some 'live' classes, write a book..et cetera...
I only wish that I had 8 arms & 10 days a week--so I could tackle it all! But alas, it's not so. (Wouldn't that be nice?) I am relieved, however, by remembering that this won't be my last post using Little Paper Shop images--by far! A few of those videos etc... are sure to include their sweet sweet stamps.
I can't express how much I'll miss being in the thick of things with Julia, Jess, and all of the amazing women on the LPS team, BUT this isn't goodbye; I'll be stalking you Ladies!!!

Happier news...There are 3 fantastic designers who will be added to the full-time LPS team: Heather, Silvia, & Julie. Many Congrats Gals!

How luck am I that I get to host a challenge today? I swear Jessica
psychically thought of that. You're amazing Jess!

The challenge is "Stampified Digis" (my silly way of saying
'Use a digital image & a stamp together.')
You can read about the challenge here on the LPS blog:

but if you got 'em flaunt 'em!) ;o)

penny slider box
If you've made a slider or spinner before,
then this box version is easy as ABC:
A} Build a Box (details for this one are below)
B} Make a slider card front (or spinner) to fit your box front
C} Stick the card onto the box (and embellish the inside, if you like)
- {Katie Skating}--a digital image from the Little Paper Shop
- {Merry & Bright} one of this year's new LPS Holiday sets
- Quart cardstock from Paper Temptress (sparkle for the snowy hills)
- My Mind's Eye Trim the tree paper
- Pale turquoise cardstock (for the box)
- Paper piercer, needle & thread,
- Double-sided tape, Tombow Monomulti
- Turquoise Sakura gel pen & Swarovski crystals

To Score & cut the box:
Step 1} Cut 1/2 an inch off of a piece of cardstock (so it measures 8x11) & Score at 2 & 9 inches
Step 2} Turn & score at 3 & 5 inches
Step 3} Cut 4 slits to make the sides
Step 4} Assemble the box & adhere the interactive card front
