Hi Galz & Guyz,
A quick personal note before this post: I've not been feeling well (nothing to worry about at all, just incredibly tired & headachey.) I just want to let you know that's why I'm really behind in blurfing and that I am missing you all terribly. Thankfully, I have some posts pre-prepared since I need to make some Christmas cards to gift & sell... Hopefully, I'll be seeing all you beautiful bloggers on your blogs soon!
And now the card jazz... :O)
I lurve that these Eat Cake stamps (from the Paper Garden Projects kit) only need a strip of torn paper to make a scene to go with them. This super simple card has the amazing little 3D snowflake embellishments that come in the Winter Wonderland Kit. I wanted to do something different with them, so I glued them to embroidery thread & sewed them on. It went surprisingly quickly, since Crystal Lacquer has such a fast drying time. Here's how it was made.
Sorry no photos with this (GASP!) It's naughty of me, but SOOOOooooh liberating to make a card with no photographing every once in a while. Muahahahaha! ;O)

The sentiments are made from a cute stamp set that Paper Garden Projects carries: Fall & Winter Border (Clear set.)
How-to:
Step 1) Cut a piece of the Bazzill Cajun Cardstock to measure 8 1/2 x 7 7/8 inches. Scored it in the middle at 4 2/8 inches)
Step 2) Cut the hill from one piece of Wedding White Cardstock: 7 5/8 x 3 inches. Tear the hill along the long edge of the cardstock.
Step 3) Make the sky by cutting a piece of Bazzill Icy Blue Cardstock to measure 7 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches. Emboss it in the Snow Dots cuttlebug folder if you like.
Step 4) Adding the snowflakes: Adhere embroidery thread to the back of the sweet little snowflakes using Crystal Lacquer. Add a strip of Oh so Sticky tape on the back of the top of the sky. Stick the embroidery thread with the snowflakes on it to the sticky tape. Set aside sky with sticky tape to mount the sky on the mat...
Step 5) Cut a mat to mount the hill & sky on (Mat of Bazzill Bling Blank Check (sparkly beige) Cardstock: 4 1/8 x 7 5/8 inches.) Stick the sky on first at the top, leaving about 1/8 of an inch of the mat exposed. Stick the hill over the sky, again leaving about 1/8 of an inch of the mat exposed.
Step 6) Stitchin: Pierce along the top of the sky to stitch it. Sew with embroidery thread. Pierce along side the snowflake threads to add two little stitches that will anchor the threads down.
Step 7) Stamp the sentiment on the Bazzill Icy Blue Cardstock (5 1/8 x 3/8 inches)
using Fall & Winter Border (Clear set) & Black Versafine or other ink.
Step 8) Mount the sentiment on a strip of Bo Bunny Jack Frost Glitz paper(stripe) 7 7/8 x 7/8 inches & mat on the Icy Blue Cardstock: 7 7/8 x 1 inches
Step 9) Pierce & stitch along the striped Bo Bunny paper with red embroidery thread, if you like.
Step 10) Add brads to the mounted sentiment & adhere to the main card
Step 11) Add the image: Stamp Nicky & Otto from the stamp Sarah Pulls Nicky and Otto & colour however you like. Cut it out & add it to the hill. :O)
and that's it! If anything is clear as mud, please lemme know. I'll fix it up. :O)
Happy Happy HAPPY Stamping!
Thanks for reading. Y'all ROCK!

P.S. Many thanks to redheadstock who made the awesome Photoshop brushes that I used on the photo. They were really easy to use. You just use them like you would any photoshop brush and there are SO many snowflake styles to choose from. They're here on Deviant art.
A google search for "Download photoshop brushes" should find all kinds of nifty things and there are lots for free. All you do is credit the generous artists. :O)
