Hi All!
Today's card is a different variation of Traced Doodling. Size-wise, it's 3 and 3/8 inches tall by 6 and 1/4 inches wide. All in all, that's probably my very favourite size, because it's a little different from A2 size and it fits the 3-5/8" x 6-1/2" envelopes that you can find at Staples or Dollar stores for a song (at least you can find them here in Canada). Do you have a favourite card size?
The doodled bit is made using an Impression Obsession Damask stamp, stamped on dark grey cardstock in Frost White Colorbox ink and traced with Prismacolor pencil crayons. The hearts are all cut using Simon Says Stamp's two 'Holiday Shapes' dies: this one & this one.
The striped white layers are just white cardstock cut & glued on (then doodled on with white gel pen, but that's hard to see). The pink tab is made using Distress Inks & the green patterned paper is from Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic digi set #2.
Here's the inside...
...And in the Chicken-Little-News, I finally got up the courage to post my very first video! It's a bit of a sad little thing, :-D but on the bright side I'm delighted that I finally conquered the horrid fear that was keeping me from making one...
You can find it here on Youtube. Please forgive the odd sound. It gets better after the first bit... (I did my best to fix it in editing but that software is a lot like another language from another planet!)
...and You can probably tell that I'm such a Nervous Nelly while I'm making it, though I guess we all have to start somewhere. :o)
And the 'hello' on the card front is from
a fabulous free Silhouette .studio cut file, here:
It's made by Christine Newman (Listgirl)
Thanks for popping by &
Happy Craftiliciousness
